In a quiet rural pocket of the Darling Downs, on a little farm I’m proud to call home, you’ll find Avondale Floral Co.  It’s here I raise my family, fatten my lambs, and live out my dream of being a mum, a farmer, and a florist.

Flowers weren’t always part of the plan.  Growing up, I'd spend my days sketching, painting and in later years graphic designing.  But in 2013, while planning my own wedding, I decided to make my bouquet using hand painted wooden flowers.  That one small decision grew into a ten-year 'hobby' that quietly supported our family while I stayed home raising our four beautiful children.

In 2023, with my youngest just two, I took a leap into fresh flowers - and unlocked a passion I didn't realise was there.  After completing my qualifications and spending time in retail floristry, I realised my heart was calling me somewhere slower and more meaningful.  I wanted to create florals that tell a story... arrangements that speak without words, holding love stories, farewells, and all the moments in between.

Today, Avondale Floral Co. specialises in wedding and event florals, milestone celebrations, heartfelt farewells, and luxury gifting.  Every design is created with intention and care, honouring the story behind it.

I consider my style as 'country-inspired romance' with Australian natives often taking centre stage.  Alongside events and bespoke arrangements, I also offer private floral workshops, from flower crowns and Christmas wreaths to seasonal bloom bars - perfect for bridal showers, baby showers, milestone birthdays, or simply gathering to create.

​

Based locally on the Darling Downs but also willing to travel, I service surrounding regions and regularly create and/or tutor workshops across Central and Western Queensland.
